The 20 ladies selected from audition of Miss Golden Stool

Organizers of the maiden edition of Miss Golden Stool have hit the road to scout for contestants for this year’s Miss Golden Stool competition.

After hundreds of young beautiful ladies thronged to the Kosados Arena Hotel in Kumasi over the weekend to audition for the enviable crown in this year’s culture and beauty pageant but unfortunately it was only 20 beautiful ladies who made to the next stage of the competition.

Meanwhile, this year’s Miss Golden Stool would house 12 outstanding constants out of the 20 picked from the audition in order to compete for the crown.

On the search panel with the task of selecting the most beautiful and talented among the lot on August 25 and 26 were Ghanaian actor Ekow Smith, Mampong Hemaa and past queen of Ghana’s Most Beautiful beauty pageant, Sally Akua Amoakowaa alias Akua GMB. The three judges gave opportunities to 20 ladies to the next stage of the competition leaving several others heartbroken.

Miss Golden Stool beauty pageant which seeks to impact the society and promote the Ghanaian culture and tradition was launched on Friday, June 29 in Accra.
