Ghanaians are not the only stylish people in Africa. As a matter of fact, we have strong fashion competition in South Africa, Nigeria and a few other countries.
But among the South African fashion crowd, there are five women who have, mostly through their Instagram style feeds, managed to stand out as some of the stylish women in the gorgeous city! From Kefilwe Mabote, to Pindy Gwala, these South African stylistas give us all the kinds of gorgeous style inspiration we need!
Kefilwe Mabote – Kefilwe’s style is so sophisticated. She combines designer pieces expertly and makes dressing up look extra classy. Best suited for women with an affinity for delectable work style, Kefilwe reps the South stylishly!
Style Alert SA – For Thuli, who runs Style Alert SA, she’s not only a dope style star, but also doubles as a fashion entrepreneur. Thuli, modeling clothes she designs and sells, infuses a grunge vibe into street and casual wear, to give off a very hip-hop ish look that gets all the admiration.
Simply Palesa – Palesa does casual glam so effortlessly! Her eclectic collection of gorgeous footwear is what first attracted me to her – it felt to me that she centered every other piece of clothing around the choice of footwear.
Lulama – For Lulama, her style is a minimalist heaven. She does soft hues, mostly monochromatic nudes or white and black and favors quirky flats as opposed to the lady like heels others might fancy. There’s an easy and throw on approach that she seems to work with that still has that air of elegance no matter what!
