South Africa’s Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters walks will be returning back to South Africa with the Miss Universe Crown and all the other gifts she will receive with the said title.
The 22-year-old contestant beat out 91 other women to take the top prize in the annual pageant, which took place at The AXIS at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Sunday night. And was also crowned by last year’s winner, Miss Universe 2016, Iris Mittenaere from France.
Unfortunately, Ghana’s hopeful Ruth Quashie did not scoop the crown but reached top 16 with other beauty queens from the Philippines, Canada, the U.S., Sri Lanka and Jamaica, before Nel-Peters took the crown.
Not sure why we keep wasting our time on these one sided pageants where a black lady wins every 100years, never the less we are just bringing you the news.
