I was dating a guy who promised to marry me but had to travel abroad for greener pasture. After a while, communication ceased. Years passed and yet there was no message from him. It's already been 6 years and I am not getting younger because now I am 28 years. I decided to move recently with a guy who got closer and personal with me, and we are set to marry this Easter. I am happy I met him. Even though he is not rich, he is very hardworking.
Last week, I got a bank credit alert on my phone of an amount I never dreamt of. I scrolled through the message to make sure it was for me, only to realise it was from Stanley; my Ex-boyfriend, the one I lost touch with days after he got to the States. He had deposited $320m into my account. Did I just call him my Ex? Well that I can't tell because we didn't break up in the first place, we just got separated by distance. I had a call from my Mum in the village some days after, that Stanley had checked on me at home and asked for my number which my mom gave to him including my address. Yesterday, Stanley called and said he will be coming to my place next weekend. He talked about lots of things on the phone which got me speechless. He said I should remember the promise we made to each other which was the main reason for his travelling abroad, and that he's finally back to fulfil the promise. The money he transferred to my account is to be used to start the arrangements for our wedding and I should find a preferred location to buy a house for us. I'm very confused because I am getting married this Easter. What should I do now?
